An annual mental health awareness day to remember that not all heroes wear capes!

Unmask the importance of youth mental health and  have your school, workplace or sports club join us for zero2hero Day on 14 June 2024.

This annual mental health awareness day encourages you to DRESS UP, STAND UP AND SPEAK UP  – dress up as your favourite superhero or somebody that inspires you, stand up for yourself and your friends, and speak up about issues you are facing.

Reduces Stigma

zero2hero Day aims to encourage open communication and reduce the social stigma around the potential affects of mental illnesses.

How can I host a zero2hero Day?

If you’d like to host a zero2hero Day at your school, workplace or sports club, reach out to schools@zero2hero.com.au to let us know, or register using the form above. We will then provide you with all the information you need to have an interactive, informative and successful mental health day.

 

 

Where does the money raised on zero2hero Day go?

All funds raised on zero2hero Day go towards supporting our school programs and our mental health leadership camps

Does zero2hero Day have to be held on a certain date?

No. If the date we set each year isn’t suitable, you are able to host your zero2hero Day on any other date. Ensure you still register so the zero2hero team can provide you with all the information you need.

Do you have to dress up?

No. It is not compulsory to dress up for zero2hero day. The option of dress up or free dress is entirely up to you! It is only one component of our mental health awareness vision

 

Will zero2hero Day interrupt the school curriculum?

Typically, all the fundraising events for zero2hero Day occur during the students recess and lunch times. However, the school may decide to use some curriculum time for mental health education.

Who should plan zero2hero Day in our school?

We suggest both teachers and students have a say in planning your zero2hero Day. We find that the more student involvement there is in the planning, the greater the success this program has in your school.
