zero2hero welcomes two new Board members

zero2hero Chairperson, Mr Paul Stone has announced today the appointment of new Board members, Linda Stade and Dr Kaine Grigg.

“We are delighted to welcome both Linda and Kaine to our Board. Their wealth of expertise, experience and skills, as well as their invaluable insights will strengthen zero2hero’s already dynamic and passionate Board” he said.

Dr Grigg has several years of clinical psychology experience, including working with children, adolescents, and adults. He has worked as a Youth Worker, Outreach Worker, and Psychologist and founded community mental health and wellbeing promotion charities MyLocalMind Inc. and Fremantle-based subsidiary FremantleMind Inc.

“I am extremely excited to contribute to zero2Hero’s work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of the youth of our community.” Dr Grigg said.

“My passion has always been youth mental health and I look forward to sharing my breadth of clinical expertise, knowledge, and experience to help drive zero2hero forward.”

Ms Stade is currently a Research Officer at Santa Maria College and is a seasoned educator, writer, consultant and student of all things education.  Four years ago she established Linda Stade Education, and has quickly become a widely known, and well-regarded, writer and speaker for parents, teachers and students.

The mental health of young people has always been a passion for Ms Stade, and over the course of her career she has seen it grow into an increasingly important influence in education.

Ms Stade says, “Young people are facing challenges far beyond previous generations and many are ill-equipped to cope. I recognise this as a wide-ranging, long-term problem and it requires long-term, strategic responses”.

“I’m excited to be joining the Board of zero2hero. It is an opportunity to use my expertise in education to support the Board and the zero2hero team in delivering powerful programs to a wide range of young people.” Ms Stade said.

With the high rate of young people struggling with mental health issues increasing, the zero2hero Board welcome the immediate appointment of Linda and Kaine in supporting the growing demand of zero2hero to expand their innovative school-based programs to reach and educate more young people in WA.
