Meet Your Keynote Speaker

Daniel Bull

Daniel Bull is a three times Guinness World Record-breaking adventurer and award-winning keynote speaker whose adventures will trigger a lasting impact. He delivers thought provoking take-aways learned from over two decades of not just surviving, but thriving in the harshest environments on Earth. Daniel’s journey encompasses life and death, constant risk and endless perseverance.

Daniel became the youngest person on the planet to climb the highest summits on every continent. Completing an unguided ascent of Mount Everest in his 20s, he has since made numerous first ascents up unclimbed peaks in unchartered locations, tackling some of the world’s most dangerous mountains

At The Heroes Lunch, Daniel invites you to challenge your beliefs about what is possible, defy perceived limitations, and continue to pursue your greatest goals.

Meet Your Entertainer

Merrick Watts

Whether it’s his infectious humour over radio, his extraordinary TV performances, or his impressive career as a comedian, it’s no doubt that Merrick Watts is one of the most versatile and enthralling entertainers in Australia.

Merrick originally rose to fame in the early 2000s as one half of the comedy radio duo Merrick and Rosso, who together took Triple J Drive to all time ratings highs, before building a cult TV fan base with shows on Nine, Ten and the Comedy Channel.

As a solo performer, Merrick carved out a new course: as an actor on The Hollowmen and Underbelly; and as a comedian, touring a solo show for the first time in 2017 with Man of the House. In 2020, Merrick then undertook a physically and psychologically demanding training course as part of his appearance in Channel 7’s SAS: Australia.
