Donating FAQs

Where does the money go?

All funds raised for zero2hero goes towards supporting our school programs and our Camp Hero programs, to continue educating, engaging and empowering thousands of young people in WA every year.

How much money will impact a young person?

A donation of $100 allows us to impact one young person through one of our programs and helps to make a real difference to future generations. Our programs aim to equip young people with the tools to positively manage their mental health and manage the ups and downs of life, as well as help others in their community who may be struggling.

What is "sponsor a student"?

By donating $950, you can cover the cost of sending a young hero to our life-changing 5 day Camp Hero program.

Your sponsorship will support one young hero to attend Camp Hero to gain the skills and tools necessary to become a mental health leader and help prevent suicide in their community.

As a sponsor you’ll receive;

  • A camp portrait of your sponsored student.
  • A letter of appreciation from your sponsored student.
  • A tax deductible receipt issued for your donation.

What is "sponsor a school"?

By donating $250, you can cover the cost of zero2hero delivering our Hero High program to a class of students.

Hero High is a range of 45 – 60 minute mental health presentations, each addressing a different topic such as Men’s Talk, Let’s Talk Resilience and Understanding Anxiety.

These presentations are designed to keep young people engaged and provide opportunities for each student to have an interactive experience, and gain the skills to be able to apply the information to their own life and wellbeing.

What do I get for my donation?
