Movement plays a powerful role in supporting mental wellbeing – and that’s exactly what Camp Hero SPORTS is all about!

This clinic is designed for young athletes aged 7–12, combining sport, teamwork, and mental health education. Across three days, participants will build resilience, confidence and leadership skills, all while getting active and having fun.

Each day includes a mix of sports drills, games and challenges, along with sessions in mindfulness, positive psychology and nutrition to help young heroes develop healthy habits for both mind and body.

WHEN: 7 – 9 January, 2026

WHERE: Newman College, 216 Empire Avenue, Churchlands.

WHO: 7 – 12 year olds

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • A 3-day school holiday program run by qualified facilitators
  • Multi-sport focus, including Soccor, Basketball, Cricket, Rugby, Netball, Yoga and many more!
  • Hear from experts on topics such as nutrition, performance coaching, sports physio and strength and conditioning
  • 15+ hours of physical and mental coaching
  • 1 x t-shirt for each participant.

When is Camp Hero SPORTS held?

Camp Hero SPORTS  is a 3 day clinic that is held during the school holidays. New dates and registration details will be updated on this page as they are released.

Who is Camp Hero SPORTS for?

Camp Hero SPORTS is open to young West Australians aged 7 – 12 years old. Beginner athletes are welcome!

How much does it cost?

$150 per student or $130 for sibling/groups.

What’s included in Camp Hero SPORTS?

Camp Hero SPORTS is a three day school holiday program run by qualified facilitators.

Attendees will have the opportunity to play and train with professional athletes throughout a variety of sports including;
– Basketball
– Netball
– Yoga
– Cricket
– Football
– Soccer
– Cheerleading
– Frisbee
– Tennis
– Nutrition

The young athletes will also be led through sessions covering topics such as nutrition, performance, physiotherapy and more.

In total, attendees will participate in over 15 hours of physical and mental coaching and a whole lot of fun, with an inflatable obstacle course and competition on the final day!
