On Friday 13 August, zero2hero Patron Matthew Pavlich, hosted our Western Derby Charity Lunch. He was joined by a fantastic line-up of panellists; Justin Longmuir, Matt Priddis, Aaron Sandilands, Shaun McManus, Glen Jakovich, Hayden Ballantyne and Will Schofield.
More than 300 guests come to laugh and lunch in support of youth mental health at our second Derby Lunch. This event raises crucial funds to support the mental health of thousands of young people across WA.
Guests also enjoyed a 3-course lunch and an AFL panel featuring footy legends and sit-down Q&A with Fremantle Football Club Captain, Justin Longmuir, ahead of the blockbuster match.
Tragically suicide continues to be the leading cause of death for young people in Australia. This event supports our school programs and leadership camps that raise awareness of mental health issues and equip young people to support friends who are struggling.
Through these programs we have been able to access 110 WA High Schools in WA, directly impact more than 20,000 young people and train more than 300 mental health ambassadors every year.
